Why are we being asked to register for a portal?

AMSTI teachers will be asked to update/verify their information before each school year. When school starts in August, we attempt to collect accurate school rosters, but rarely have correct information throughout the entire school year. When a teacher changes schools, grade levels, or disciplines, we don't have that information unless it has been reported to us. In order to properly serve our schools and teachers, we need to know who is teaching what, and where.

Once you've accepted your invitation, it only takes a few seconds to create a username and password. You can briefly scan over your information - if anything is incorrect, you can update it.

In order to prevent sending a large amount of science kits to the wrong schools, teachers, grades, etc., science teachers must request ("order") their kits in the portal.
